Every year in November the startup festival Meet Taipei takes place in Taipei. Hundreds of startups and tens of thousands of potential investors, mentors, employees and government officials meet up during three days to build and grow the companies of tomorrow.

Among the hundreds of startups are also 50-70 international startups from places such as Japan, Hong Kong and Thailand which are interested in expanding to Taiwan. In many cases Business Next has formed partnerships with universities, accelerators and incubators in countries in the region to bring their best new companies to Meet Taipei.

During the three days, there are many sub tracks taking place. Once such event is the Dragons’ Chamber pitch event for foreign entrepreneurs. This year was the 4th year in a row that this event took place. The event is co-organized by among others the Canadian Chamber of Commerce and marketing firm Enspyre. Over the years they have given a platform for foreign entrepreneurs in Taiwan from Hong Kong, the US, UK, Sweden and many more countries, helping them gain exposure so they can father the resources they need to grow their businesses.

The event is organized by Business Next media group and sponsored by government agencies and large companies. For the last few years the event has taken place at the former football stadium turn exhibition space in Yuanshan but rumors has it that in 2020 they will move to bigger space in the World Trade Center.

Pamir Law Group is looking forward to hosting more Hong Kong investors to Meet Taipei in 2020.
